Dr. Kittleman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Medical Degree from the University of Texas Health Science at Houston. Upon graduating from medical school, he completed an internship at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin followed by a three year Ophthalmology residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Dr. Kittleman is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the Texas Medical Association, the Travis County Medical Society, the Austin Ophthalmological Society and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Kittleman has been selected for inclusion in the Texas Super Doctors list for the past 8 years. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, an honor he has maintained since 1986. Dr. Kittleman performs cataract surgery and treats patients with glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration, as well as performs complete eye examinations for adults.
Dr. Kittleman enjoys outdoor sports, especially running, swimming, cycling, triathlons and scuba diving. Dr. Kittleman is married to Dr. Linda Litzinger and has two sons.
Dr. Golde earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Texas, graduating with highest honors. She then went on to earn her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine with high honors. Following an internship at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Dr. Golde completed her residency in Ophthalmology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School.
After residency, she served as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Boston University School of Medicine, where she spent time taking care of patients as well as teaching both residents and students in the clinical setting and in the operating room.
Dr. Golde is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, and the Austin Ophthalmology Society.
Dr. Golde lives in Austin with her husband, Nick, and two children.
Dr. Dixit earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, and graduated summa cum laude with High Honors. She was nominated for the Outstanding Scholar Award by the College of Engineering. She earned her Medical Degree and Certification in Medical Ethics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, graduating with Honors. Following an internship at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, she completed her residency in Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Dixit has completed additional subspecialty training at the top-ranked Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL, with a Fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery.
She specializes in cataract and intraocular lens surgery, laser-assisted cataract surgery, corneal transplant surgery, ocular surface disease and reconstruction, dry eye, ocular surface tumors, and laser vision correction (LASIK/PRK).
Dr. Dixit is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Cornea Society, and a legislative advocate for patients and physicians. Dr. Dixit enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing the violin, soccer, swimming, and outdoor activities.
After graduating from the University of California, San Diego, Dr. Patel obtained his medical degree from Wake Forest University and completed his internship at Carolinas Medical Center. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Pennsylvania State University Hershey Eye Center, where he won numerous awards and was appointed Chief Resident. Dr. Patel then completed his formal training with a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the #1 ranked Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Dr. Patel has been published in leading ophthalmology journals, presented at national meetings and authored several book chapters. He specializes in cataract surgery, laser-assisted cataract surgery, corneal transplant surgery and laser vision correction (LASIK/PRK).
Dr. Patel is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and remains an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Cornea Society, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and is an avid basketball fan.
